ORGANIC KARMA
Kundalini Yoga Roof Garden - Arambol
You can find us in Arambol, behind the beach in the Coconut Grove, Girkarwaddo
We have moved! We are no longer on the high street, but in Girkarwaddo - map at the bottom of the page... information on Bhagsu near Dharamsala at the bottom of page....
Arambol

Arambol is in the very north of Goa and a hub for all things holistic. It also has a great live music and performance scene. There are not many places in Goa where you can experience every type of healing, balance your chakras, see concerts in both Indian Classical and Sufi music and marvel at Fire Dancers who make their living in Vegas!
Behind the beach there is a clear lake, jungle and banyan trees to explore... get on a scooter and take in the coast road, or dive inland roads and find the undiscovered Goa. Check out the phone lines for resting kingfishers...
Arambol definitely has a laid-back vibe, with a bit of bustle on the high street but plenty of places to chill out. There are miles and miles of unspoilt beach to discover, you can walk two hours exploring beach after beach and it is close to the famous Anjuna Flea Market, and the vibey Saturday Nite Bazaar. Heading further North by ferry from Keri, you can get to the beautiful Fort Tiracol, Paradise Beach and Redi Fort. When it comes to dining, you have an amazing variety of places to choose from – the best in local Goan cuisine, fantastic seafood, and numerous coffee and juice bars.
There is a whole range of accomodation. Naturally prices increase around christmas and New Year but you can pay between 200 and 3000 rupees depending on your budget. I can send you a list of accomodation...
Arambol is one and a half hour drive from Dabolim airport - fixed price 1000rs. The nearest train station is Pernem (25 mins - taxi 300rs) although trains from Delhi come into Margao (over an hour away) and most buses pull into Mapusa (40 mins - taxi 400rs). Useful travel websites www.makemytrip.co.in for flights and trains. I would always advise train journeys rather than buses - 9 times out of 10 the bus is uncomfortable and unreliable.
New Kundalini Rooftop Garden location in Arambol

Kundalini at Tree House - Bhagsu
Bhagsu is high in the mountains near Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh. It's an inspiring place with mountain views, waterfalls and a bit like Arambol every yoga and therapy under the sun. Twenty minutes stroll down hill is McLeod Ganj, home to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and a large Tibetan community living in exile which makes for total magic. Buddhist chanting, momos and humble smiles.
The best way to get to the area is by train - although the closest stations Pathankot and Chakki Bank are a good two and a half hour taxi ride away. Trains leave Delhi's Old Delhi train station. As ever, the bus is an ordeal. Again check www.makemytrip.co.in for trains. The taxi costs 1500rs from Pathankot to McLeod and Bhagsu. Accomodation varies, but you should make sure you get a view as that is priceless. You can get a very decent room with hot water and TV for 350 - 500rs a night. Kitchens are also possible. Expect to pay less if you share a bathroom, have no TV or the further up the hill you have to hike!
